ESDP conference in Jena (Photos: Helena Hurme)

The conference of the European Society of Developmental Psychology in Jena was arranged in a building with copies of Greek statues. One evening the opening of an exhibition on adolescence was arranged. One exhibit showed the clothing of a young mail. The picture looks like one of the participants wanting to dance with the model! I saw that one of the persons who has been most central for the development of developmental psychology. Ernst Haeckel, had lived in Jena. I decided to visit the museu, but it was under reparation. I talked myself into the building and the director showed me his study and even allowed me to make a picture of it. I could feel the hairs rising on my hand!

Jena is a city known to everyone interested in photography, as there is text on the Carl Zeiss lenses saying Jena.
