I'm happy it was not a pigeon the hawk got hold of, as I suffer from a pigeon phobia since early childhood. I am sure I would have had to flee and would perhaps have vomited! Being the daughter of a veterinarian, I am on the other hand not afraid of blood or even seeing the intestines of animals, so I just kept on taking pictures.
